I I GUARANTEE that yes DONORS to University of North Dakota Athletics have seen these pages, and they have been disgusted by the ungrateful whining and complaining. It HAS effected donations that would have been made. I was at an event today and it was the big topic. The people that were talking about it DO NOT throw around selfish internet tirades, they throw money around, a hell of a lot more than I do, and they were pissed at 2 things in particular. 1) Kennedy re: manner this has been handled 2) Comments they have seen from this site about the Engelstads. I’m pissed and disgusted after what I heard today, it’s shameful. If any of you think that you have advanced UND athletics, with the attitudes presented on here, are fools, small sad fools. But hey don’t take my word maybe just ask around to some of the people that ACTUALLY DO support Athletics with more than just your Hawk logoed pacifier purchases. There’s not a quality person involved in the University of North Dakota Athletic Deparment that condones your ungrateful behavior. LOG OFF before you do the University any more harm!!

This is a fantasy. I've lived the opposite. Others were treated like !@#$ on toast by the FB program and that was BEFORE they went on the D1jv run. Can't imagine the genuflecting that is required now.

Literally the definition of welfare. Lets not try to make entities stand for themselves but rather just provide to them from others. They ARE being enhanced NOW with some of the fortunate revenue generated by REA. When is it ever going to be enough? 50%.... 75%... 100%... Although now it appears that the fight IS all about the logo. And the hypothtical windfall of merch revenue that the center court logo will generate. Really KEM should compromise on this part as the logo is already "on the court" as it sits on the plan now... it really isnt that big of a deal, just would want the North Dakota wordmarks on the ends.

It also then impedes what will be the sponsor logos, those areas need to be somewhat spatially protected from encroachment in order to maintain their value.

No the logo still sucks, itlooks like a logo placed in the middle of a bouncy ball court, It does actually look the same or better than just the North Dakota, the way the lines have to be painted does cause more of a distraction on the logo than the word mark. really it’s basketball, who cares

if anybody has the font file I could do that. It would not look too bad along the sidelines. having looked at everything I would say The university and KEM should settle with putting the logo in Betty floor in exchange for an apology from Mr K , an honorarium to Ralph reaffirming our appreciation for the gift , a bronze bust in Twamley or something , and an agreement to work toward the future. Really after watching the video interview from KEM it is clear Kennedy can not totally “win” this fight he has picked, She looks to me as a person who would be willing o go nuclear, and I think that could damage the university for generations. this is just too stupid to fight anymore on now, cost benefit does not appear to be there.

I was going to mock one up with a giant turd in place of the logo but I figured the snowflakes wouldn't get the joke, and even if they did, they'd be out of work/school/institution for the rest of the week claiming PTSD episodes.

I worked this up took a bit of work to properly lay in the lines required. I do not have the New Font, If I did i would mock up another one with "NORTH DAKOTA" on the ends. The court I feel needs to also have the North Dakota wordmark.

No jokes just honest commentary, By putting the Logo center and NORTH DAKOTA on the ends, I'm not sure that is a aesthetically pleasing, also it does not leave much room for FIGHTING HAWKS anywhere. This successfully uses all the branding and wordmarks in a spatially acceptable manner. I can mock it up in photoshop tonight but in reality, This is a visually appealing layout. Mountains out of molehills? Certainly not something to lose one of the largest donors to the school over.

How many football teams ever have a large logo on the jerseys ? A small logo under the neckline is common, shoulder logos are common. Football has used the indian head logo sparingly in the 80s "similar" to the bhawks logo used by hockey. Hockey is far and away the only sport to brand with a logo so prominently on a uniform.... hence why the greater connection with fan bases imho.

As far as the court goes. No its a battle that could have been "conseeded" with little to no effect on the "segment "majority" of the REA customers.
