Hyslop was fun for basketball in the day, but has anyone actually tried moving around in that place? The old building is a mess. Training and locker rooms were tiny and so difficult to get from one spot to another. What I never understood was the phy ed courses using the old original building classrooms when nicer new ones sat un-used by the multipurpose gym. Memory is fuzzy, but maybe the newer ones were not as big.

Were the ratings that bad for CBS Sports to lower how many games they air? They don't publish the numbers anyways. Seems really odd as NBC Sports and ESPNU getting more and more into college hockey.

I liked the boards. I also like having the scores whenever I look up because not often. I was mostly watching the field so maybe I missed it but what would be nice is more stats permanently updated / displayed.

What happened to Tulane? They only lost 4 times last year (once to us), but they for the most part looked lost and seemed to be still playing some upper classwomen. Surprised that we are playing so many freshman. Very good sign of things to come. Has the setter from Marshal gotten any time?

In all honesty...why not Kansas City? Now have one in central and then the other west team can be in west division. What I do like is the NHL is looking at markets that don't have other competition. Granted maybe the big corporate money ma not be there, but look how quickly Oklahoma City adopted the Sonics (I know they did get good quick).

MN did test having a shot clock for the biggest schools quite a few years back. Not sure why they decided not to. However one thing I heard was the expense of equipment and then hiring a person for every game. Doesn't seem like should've been a big issue for those schools. Obviously smaller schools would never have it. Does class B in ND use it?

Also the rest of the Big Sky brings in mostly foreigners. UND it's just to meet Big Sky requirements. I don't even think UND does much recruiting.

The students were supposed to originally have the 4 bottom side sections and only 2 on the upper deck. Not sure why it was changed, but had nothing to do with what the students picked.

Thought we transitioned very well in the first period. Lots tape to tape passes as we broke through neutral zone with speed. Second and third we went back to just panicking and throwing puck off glass as soon as it was on our stick. Thought Panzerella was great addition tonight. Had a great tip in second and started to throw weight around.
