We looked so lost tonight. We were hitting into a lot of blocks and we couldn't block. If we did get a spike through a UNC defender was there. We hit way to many balls out. A very strange thing was how often we weren't even able to set a ball. Seemed like we weren't going to Pioske much and when she did get a chance to hit it wasn't the usual power. A good note was the serving and all the aces. Munkeby as our only offensive weapon. Hart played great, but she is not tall enough to be front row.

Northern Colorado got a nice win tonight over Kansas State. UNC may be able to shoot three's but they may shoot free throws worse than us.

Well it seems last place SUU knocked off previously tied for second NAU in 5 tonight. So we now have 2 game lead on PSU and 3 game on NAU.

I'm still bitter after USD loss and it's not a diss on them. I just think it was poor scheduling playing it after tourney and travel. I'd love another shot at that one. In looking through the rpi it seems the Big Sky is fairly spread out and wow does the summit have the haves and the have nots. Which brings up the question of how has UND and USD gotten so much better than NDSU and SDSU after they had head start?

They had some sort of grant last year which is why Miller was covering hockey on road as well. If you are the Herald why would you pay to have two writers go to road games?

Didn't that win (and UNC loss) clinch our Big Sky playoff spot? I'm very curious to see Northern Colorado on Friday. They are a team we struggle with and had to have an epic comeback to beat this year. The good news is Weber beat Northern Colorado last night so I don't think they will make the playoffs as they are 3 behind Montana and I believe are done playing them.

Attendance only 839 and crowd wasn't into it. I guess that will happen when you are dominating. Robinson wasn't dressed. I didn't get to see the NAU game and had to hunt around to the NAU site for the box score. Looks like she did play two sets, but only had 6 total attacks for 3 kills. While she can be erratic this is a tough loss athletically. But Emily Asche did look good tonight and she adds some length for blocking.

Wasn't Brekke one the of the top fg % players in all of D1 two years ago? He's no offensive liability. If anything he doesn't get enough touches in the post.

So I finally am home to see a game. So glad to have watchbigsky.com. even had some replays last night. One of the best reasons to belong to this conference. And a great start in conference play but that fist loss in like ten games to usd annoys me.

What I've read is that Fox was asking for like 80 cents but now is just letting the Speed channel contracts run out for like 23 cents. So every cable system should have it. If you go to Fox sports 1 website you can check channel number because some (like DirecTV) are moving to better tier.

Do they still run the daily specials that give full meal and pop for like $8?

Schedule is official. Great opening tournament at Betty with Iowa St, SDSU, and Texas A&M. But dang it I won't be able to go since it's Labor Day weekend. Article on it.
