It was too easy to get sling for free.

A little overdramatic and critical but then again your moniker speaks for itself. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2498450-12-best-comeback-games-in-college-football-history

I deleted my comment - as I do not want to create a hockey vs football discussion. Also I don't want an innocent discussion with Bubba to a supporter to become a negative thread here.

I think they are quite high in the quality education category.

There are probably compliance issues that prevent individuals from starting a fund for rings but couldn't UND give fans an option to "pay up" for things like tailgating sites, parking, passing the hat in the Champions Club tent, having auctions for football items in the Champions Club tent, even taking a donation toward the posters they usually give away - if it is optional to fans then UND could earmark the money for the rings. We are talking about $30,000 however, which is a steep amount to raise but at least the money could buy-down the cost.
-
Does someone know for sure that the other three teams got rings? If so who paid for them? I don't buy the "some players can't afford one" so no one gets one. Back in the day if I couldn't afford a class ring I didn't get one.
-
Oops - make the 5-3 if seedings hold.
-
Congrats ladies, Marcia Brady U takes it on the chin again from UND.

The Hawk Walk has a nice ring to it.

Well it appears there is no rule against kegs.
-
My perspective is that UND is not willing to rock the boat when it comes to enforcing useage rules of full-time tailgaters - sometimes it's local businesses that have good intentions but in the end no one shows up. I talked with one guy who had three spots and never showed up one year - not once and it left a big gap between spots, the following year they showed up once and we chatted, he admitted not having much interest in being a regular but no intention of giving up the spots.
-
That rule has never been inforced.
-
So if the seeding holds true the MVFS goes 6-3, not seeing that they will. But then again UNI could go 0-2 and still move up the polls.
-
So does this challenge thing come with a cup that goes to the conference that wins the most games head-to-head? It's not like a basketball challenge where you have the corresponding seeds playing each other - 1s play each other, 2s play each other and on down. Did I miss something?
-
I like that plus it's not that safe to have vehicles driving down the tailgating lanes at that time with so many people running around.
-
Now they need to come up with a policy that doesn't allow people to just use the spots for convenient parking or just once or twice a year.
-
It's quirky like he is.

The game is mentioned in a Sports Illustrated story this week but no respect for UND mostly drivel.

Write a check and mail it to the Alumni Association :). Actually I would start by calling them - pretty sure there will be people falling over the phone to talk to you. Telephone: 701-777-2611 Toll Free: 1-800-543-8764

Champions Club Tickets: get better organized on when they are sent out. For example for the first time ever I have my Champions Club tickets in hand before the first home football game, however I know there are others that have not received theirs yet. Get season tickets and tailgating passes out faster - it will generate excitement for the coming season. Does anyone have their season tickets or tailgating passes yet? Champions Club tent: love that they are very flexible and welcoming on bring guests/family into the tent.

Hopefully someone on the committee is monitoring here. Let's share some thoughts here.

"LaSane landed himself in hot water initially when he was arrested and charged for driving under the influence of alcohol on June 10. Roughly six weeks later on July 21, LaSane was arrested on charges he disrupted a peace officer after refusing to show identification following an early-morning incident at the Rockin’ R Bar in downtown Bozman." Wow - obviously don't know the kid but he seems to need some guidance. As per the SU rules of discipline he must be good to get a third chance.
-
Got my Champions Club membership cards - I have never gotten them before the start of the season - my game experience has already improved.

The expectations were built so high it had a long way to fall. Everyone needs to move on and hope for the best for the guy and his family. Few here can relate to the situation and none should judge - let's just move on.
