Thanks for caring - isn't it milking time?

What do you think? Would it bother you if UND never played the Bi-son again? I say no it would not bother me. We own the trophy and we own the won/lost record and there is nothing that will ever change that. For all the rhetoric we hear about the Bi-son moving on, many of them appear to be unable to do that they need to put the Sioux down in order to make themselves feel superior. Message to Bi-Sons PLEASE mooooove on. You've got the rivalry with the Jackrabbits now so start monitoring their website and pestering them with your drival about tradition, etc. You've got more in common with them anyway they have cows on campus too.

Let's start a new thread and see how the vote goes. How many could care less if UND ever plays NDSU again? Of course even if that came to pass the Bi-sons would still be chanting anti-Sioux chants just because they have no one else to hate and the only way they can feel good about their school/team is to put another one down. I would not miss the Bi-son.

It's takes more than a day or two to arrange for crews, cameras, satelitte time, sell advertising etc. Don't blame WDAZ. I would buy into the theory that the NCAA dragged its feet intentionally so that WDAZ wouldn't be able to make it happen. I think the NCAA is going to cause UND a lot of pain in the future - which because they are an unregulated monopoly they can.

THis might qualify as a new thread but consider this: What if UND officially dropped the Fighting Sioux as a nickname and replaced it with nothing. They could spin it as "Times have changed and we don't feel our University is best represented by any name other than NORTH DAKOTA". The office team name would be "North Dakota" and we could have a cheer that says "We are North Dakota" - think how that would create a fuss in Bi-Sonville Of course the fans could continue to use Sioux cheers, wear Sioux clothing etc and UND could say "we have no control over what our fans do" I suppose that wouldn't carry any weight with the Engelstad Estate though and we would probably lose the Ralph and a ton of future money. Just a thought

1. It's not even basketball season yet. 2. Farmers have more time on their hands than businessmen (one cheapshot should be expected) 3. For many fans it's a wait and see time of year 4. Chat sites like this aren't really mainstream yet.

I've always like the "If you want to work on a farm go to NDSU, if you want to own the farm go to UND" slam. That along with the Old MacDonald Tune really gets their goat - and they have plenty of goats down there.

I just found out that the bus was cancelled due to lack of interest. Anyone driving to Cedar Falls on Saturday and is coming on I-94 (past Albany, MN)? Is there a bus going to UNI? Who would I contact about perhaps jumping on in Central Minnesota? Is there anyone passing through Central Minnesota on I-94 that wouldn't mind a Sioux Hitchhiker? I'd be willing to split gas, of course.
