That's actually funny.   I agree, too. I had a Thursday golf league match and tried to log on from the golf cart to discover that they game wasn't on. This was an epic fail on Midco's part.

Anyone know why on ESPN every other game for the rest of the year shows ESPN+, except this weekend?

Bottom line, UND is with Midco for the next two years minimum and probably an additional two after that.  Watch Armacost and Chaves follow around the Midco peeps at public events .. they love their Midco money

Not the only media company with money, far from it actually. Midco needs to go away. Likely won’t go away over the next couple years due to the recent mistake of an agreement, but their product is inadequate (unless significant improvements are made).

Well for someone who use to have to watch Prairie Public Television to get the Sioux hockey games, it was nice to be able to just flip on the Midco channel and actually see the football game.  You're welcome.

This is a fair comment. Some on here are acting like a midco broadcast has never successfully happened. Thursday sucked but Im not aure what better option is out there. Maybe if UND had won the broadcast license that went to BEK and produces nothing local or of value we would have an alternative. The Forum Communications monopoly has been devastating for North Dakota.

Just a guess, but I suspect Midco will be move to be a regional content provider only almost like an ESPN plus and drop the broadcast component.  You already see this with the summit league, NISC and so on.  Let all the schools broadcast their own product and Midco would own all streaming content and split profits accordingly among the member schools.

Yes, it sound like things were not working.  But, the problems were very different from the football game.  The football game was an audio nightmare and the game simply not even available to watch on ESPN+.  This seems more app related.  So, much of that could be related to the switch in platforms.  So people could have the old app and simply need to download the new app.  Anyway, thanks for the info.
