So how many tickets are typically sold this way?

Can’t say for sure the Alerus holds a little above 12,000. I would expect around 10,500 to 11,000 at the game

I would like to see back ups playing a good chunk of the game. I think Schmidt understands the importance of building depth and experience more than Bubba ever did. The opportunities to play your depth players and build experience is not available every game, so you have to get some of those guys the experience when you can. Hopefully we have that opportunity this weekend.

Regardless .... FOOTBALL!

I think their defense will be better than what most are expecting and I predict our offense will be a little slow to get going.  Closer than what most think.... 31-7 UND.

These first three games are about as pathetic as one could get.  I know they get Nebraska after them but some ND 9 man teams would put up a better fight than these three weak sisters.  Good chance UND puts up 60 in all three.

Possibly. Sounds like they were pretty solid last year, but also sounds like they lost quite a bit.

Alerus Capacity: 12,283

I just ran a screenshot of the unsold tickets through AI. It counted 1,677.

10,606 tickets sold, and probably a couple hundred sold by tomorrow night. Usually, the walk up crow is pretty strong. I hope it's even stronger for the rare night game.

I'll guess attendance lands around 11,400. Not bad for a week night against an unfamiliar opponent.

Goals/Expectations/Hope for the first two games (short list)

1.  50+ points scored

2.  Less that 20 points allowed

3. No missed FG's or XP's

4.  Lots of freshman see some action

5.  NO INJURIES

How’s potato bowl look with it being on holiday weekend

dumb dumb scheduling by the master negotiatior

Was kinda curious why the first game is on a Thursday vs the normal Saturday...doesn't appear to have dampened ticket sales though.

Hopefully we have a good student section for the game.  I'm still greedily hoping that many leave the game by the 4th quarter and figure out where they are getting their thirst on on a Thursday evening as the game has become a yawner.
