Hockey makes more money than pretty much every fcs football program or mid/low major bb program in the country.

That said, once fb is on better footing, I think UND/REA should invest some in bb and move some games to the revenue.  Need a court.  Can take advantage of suites and concessions and marketing potential there to generate more bb rev.  Alabama was a huge missed opportunity imo.

How much did NDSU get paid from Gate City to put on those little 2 x 2 patches on the uni's?   I can't comprehend that anyone is even going to see those things let alone run out and open an account there.

Former CEO and current board member of the bank is a huge bison booster.  It's more about sending them money than the exposure.

A sponsor “gives UND $1 million” and you want to tell them to “f off”?

That may be your dumbest post yet (and there have been many).  Where will you get another million to fill that monetary void of $1 million?  How about you thank them for their generosity and work to get them to increase it?  Very few schools can afford to disengage with a million dollar donor because of what they do or don’t do with the rest of their donations. 
 

UND is not in a position to turn down big donations because a few fans are obsessed with what happens to NDSU. If that is your attitude, then you need to sit this one out. You will only be in the way.

if our "mangement" thinks so lowly or their own product to short sell itsefl and accept a 1/10 less....you get what we've gotten over the last 20 years...mediocrity (and it wears a xxxl pullover)

but to get backto the og post/meaning.....if your banking with say...gate city bank and you move your money over to fccu and fccu sees a nice return on their investemtn with und they might pony up more on the next deal.....
