And if so, why didn’t Michigan discipline him. that’s the thing with some of these programs like Michigan / BU etc. tons of elite players but it doesn’t translate to winning in NCAA tourney if they don’t get buy in. The former is a solid player but often overrated, the latter is an elite, Boeser type player Think MN born, played Tier 1 AAA, maybe at a school 60 miles south of Minneapolis with an impressive list of former players now in the NHL. 😏 3 Quote

The boys see him as a 'glue guy' for practice & the locker room, but not going to have his ego hurt if he doesn't see ice time. Very solid goalie coming out of Shanley & early at Duluth, but now, he knows the lineup & as a lifelong Sioux fan (like Strinden), he will give everything in practice to make the team better for Friday & Saturday night. 2 Quote

We'll for sure be back with this core group." I hope that he DOES come back. I love his play and his attitude. Agree on the quote, but I haven't seen an interview from Schloss or Herald to confirm Zellers is coming back. Saw the Reschny story, did I miss a confirmation somewhere? Quote

Wonder if Schloss is doing an article after each of those confirmations? If that's the case, hopefully we hear on Zellers in the next day or so. Quote

Put them in national title contender again. Higher-end Top 6, while keeping the 3rd / 4th line depth. Try to match Defense / Goaltending of this past year. Forwards. I'm not saying others cannot, but right now, you know Swanson, Reschny, Zellers are Top 6 on a title contender type of guys. Potentially Simpson as an incoming FR. In the portal is Wiebusch the only one where that's a lock as a Top-line guy? Do you feel good about Magnussen sliding into 2nd line? I think of the remaining 4 spots, you need 3 of them (either portal or CHL) to be high-end. Defense Need one of the remaining CHL big 3 Quote
The Sicatoka Posted 35 minutes ago Posted 35 minutes ago I see Jack Kernan as what I call the 7th forward: He can easily play top 6 or be slotted down to a third line role and still create some independent offense. 2 Quote
