Should be a great Frozen Four.   UND-UW, as a Gopher fan I'd just like to see a meteor shower lol.  UND has a better roster and should be favored, the wildcard in that crafty SOB behind the bench

There have been a few posts on here that reminded me of this quote recently, not to call you out specifically. I'm guilty of it too, being a fellow human and all.

Yeah, can't have conference matchups right away.  Badgers luckily didn't get sent out to Colorado to die like Western Michigan.

why can't you....computer prints out the numbers...match them up accordingly.

The only doubt would be them coming out in the 1st period a bit complacent/flat like North Dakota did

Who knows. They completely knocked UND off their game (#2 in the country and steamrolling through the regional..even if we’re frustrated they didn’t have their best game) and forechecked and took away space better than I saw DU or UM in the following game. They beat Mich. St. and had success regular season against the best in their conference. Hastings almost got it done a couple times with the resources/talent at MANKATO. Sure they’ve been inconsistent, but I’m not considering this a gimme, even if it seems like Carle always just finds a way.

I would not sleep on this Wisconsin team. DU should absolutely win, and it could be a 5-1 snoozer. But Wisconsin is on a free roll. They shouldn’t be here. Everyone “knows” they are going to lose.

And remember in 2022 that Minnesota State was the better team for the first 40 minutes as Denver weathered the storm before breaking through in the 3rd period to win the National Championship.

siouxsports 2003: “there is no reason we shouldn’t have the same success as Minnesota.”

2005: “there is no reason we shouldn’t have the same success as Denver.”

2012: “there is no reason we shouldn’t have the same success as BC.”

2019: “there is no reason we shouldn’t have the same success as Duluth.”

2026: “there is no reason we shouldn’t have the same success as Denver.”

Wisconsin is playing well but it just seems like whatever it takes to win is what Denver is going to do. I wonder what Denver’s save percentage is in the NCAA tourney under Carle? Gotta be mid to high 90s. I believe it was .97 in 2024.

I feel like this is DUs game. Despite the SOG disparity in our game, UND had more than enough chances to win. DU will take advantage of those chances I feel.

Only the heavens know, but wouldn't mind seeing DU win. For the sake of the NCHC & because the B1G is a huge monolithic force that already dominates much of college athletics. Carle is a class act & he wins the right way without a huge NIL reserve. He does what UND & most other smaller schools usually cannot: defeats the big brand schools on the big stage, reppin' the NCHC & keeping it at the top of the pyramid.

If Hakstol era teams capitalized once or twice, UND would’ve been included in this. :(

Westwood One radio has frozen 4 coverage with Starman color and Shireen rink side. Don’t know who does PxP, but I’m sure it’s better than Bucci. I am going to try to sync them up with the TV muted.
