Looks like the last time a regional was at Van Andel was in 2013 hosted by Michigan but WMU hosted there previously in 2009. Out of the 5 times Van Andel Arena has hosted WMU 3 and Michigan 2 Edit: WMU 4 Michigan 1 (Yost hosted the first one) Quote

I wouldn’t go as far as to say that it will rival the Ralph. 550 million includes a practice sheet of ice, 2 practice basketball courts, event space and the main arena. 2 Quote
cberkas Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago What should happen is all the schools in the West that want to host get together in a smoke filled back room and agree to only bid with their arenas and force the hand. The problem is no arenas in the West big enough there is the solution. 1 Quote

Geography ignorance is real. My wife and I were at a toll booth in Dallas, and the attendant leans out his window, looks at our license plate, and asks, “North Dakota? What’s North Dakota?” I respond, “It’s the southernmost province of Canada.” A look of recognition crosses his face and says, “Oh yeah, that’s right.” 1 Quote
The Sicatoka Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Albany to Worcester, regional to regional, 130 miles. That's a trip for groceries for some folks I know. 1 Quote
cberkas Posted 24 minutes ago Posted 24 minutes ago I had hope in college hockey fans, than the one in the East showed up out of nowhere. With how they are acting just think if the games were at Lawson, Munn, REA, and USA hockey Arena (Yost doesn’t have the lockers). They’d be complaining even more about having to go West. 1 Quote
