GoodGood Posted Monday at 04:31 PM Posted Monday at 04:31 PM Just now, homer said: Can’t keep the roster as is either. He should have a good feel for who is going to contribute in the next couple of years. Sitting in a 7 win roster might get you 10 next year……which likely still puts us in the conference play in game. It’s not going to be a pretty rebuild. It might be 10 wins next year, 13 wins the next, then 16 wins, then 20. Look at Jory Collin’s at ndsu. 11 wins, 15 wins (Covid year), 11 wins, 18 wins, then finally jumped to 20+ win seasons. It’s not going to be popular or fun, but I would expect a similar type rebuild here 2 Quote
sioux24/7 Posted Monday at 04:48 PM Posted Monday at 04:48 PM I see that both Navaeh Ferrara-Horne and Kiera Pemberton have entered the portal again. Quote

Popular Post The Sicatoka Posted yesterday at 12:35 PM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 12:35 PM You've brought a concern, made your case, defended it, been offered the path to make a true change (because that power doesn't reside here), and yet you continue to bemoan, berate, and belittle here. A saboteur could not do better. Or put another way, if this is you helping, please, quit helping. If you haven't received satisfaction from Armacost go somewhere that influences him. Continued grousing here accomplishes little positive at this point. 8 Quote
Kab Posted yesterday at 01:59 PM Posted yesterday at 01:59 PM My question and maybe it has been answered, is your daughter still on this team or did she graduate Quote

Looks like she barely played while there, mostly only in garbage time. Wondering if she will go to a different power 4 school or drop back down to mid-major. I think her skill set translates better to the mid-major level if she wants lots of playing time. Although I would be surprised if she was interested, I would reach out to her to gauge interest. Quit making comparisons between Mayville and UND -it is embarrassing to the program and the tradition it worked so hard to develop. Hutter has not shown any Division I coaching during any games - and it starts with scouting/preparation and adjustments. He can’t even come up with running an offense based on the players he has on the roster so Mayville has nothing to do with it. Quote

You can disagree with how these people are expressing their frustration, but the program IS a dumpster fire right now. And I am curious as to how the coaching staff is planning to clean it up. 2 Quote
UND92,96 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Per the Fargo Forum, in addition to the previously announced Volmer, Ohnstad and Fletcher are in the portal. Ohnstad is kind of an enigma. She was the 9th-ranked player in the MN class of 2024 (by comparison Ava Miller was 33rd), which normally suggests somebody is good enough to be a pretty good Summit player, and obviously she was good enough to earn a scholarship to Kansas State, but for whatever reason she just couldn't consistently crack the lineup. She only shot 29.5% from the floor when she did play. I would guess she'll end up somewhere in the NSIC. Fletcher is probably the least surprising departure, if for no other reason than she was the only one on the roster eligible to return, and who was in the program for more than one year, but still couldn't crack the rotation at any point in the 2025-26 season. I would guess she'll maybe go back to a Canadian school. Volmer has athletic ability, but she struggled to score and isn't known as a 3-point shooter. Like Ohnstad, I could see her playing in the NSIC. Quote
