As we sit now UND holds a 5 point edge on the Pios with equal amounts of games played heading toward the end of January.  The Sun Devils are a bit behind in the NCHC sitting at 17 points and coming off a bye week.  The last time they took the ice, they took four of six from up and coming Miami.  Denver hosts SCSU this weekend and Duluth after, so not the time to take the foot off the gas pedal for UND.

Really the key this weekend is puck possession and making Lucies, Schmiek, and Potter player in their own end.  Those guys drive the wagon, and keeping them off the power play is a point of emphasis this weekend as well.

This four game road trek for UND will tell a lot about the NCHC race heading into February.  A trip south, followed by a trip to the harbor and the Dawgs.

They have been rotating the goalies. Urban had a shutout so I'd expect him to start Friday and Hasley Saturday.

Their "3M line" is like the "Plante line" after that it's a drop off in scoring.

Get on them early and fast STAY OUT OF THE BOX. Their pp gets them back in games, so don't get baited.

They hate getting hit and don't really play the body. Hit them early and set the tone. Expect the ASU diving team to show up on the ice at some point.

What are we thinking for the attendance split?

I'm Thinking 60% UND fans if not more...

With how many season ticket holders are UND fans and there are a few students too. I'd say 65%

I wish they would bring back the band and cheerleaders, but they can fill that section with more students with the band not taking up the whole section.

Was a clean hit too, that angle isn’t the best view of the hit

Looks like a collarbone. Tough loss as I've always thought he was a great player as you could tell by my comments in the World Juniors thread.

I thought it was his leg with how he came up right before the hit. He did a toe pick and came up limp than he was hit.
