Nah they regressing some, but no doubt the SUs very much still the top tier in FCS … but UND going to take that next step into that top tier next season so it’s a wash 1 1 Quote

I think the one window will help the smaller schools. True, that is just the window where they have to declare to enter the portal, but can be signed/commit anytime after that I guess right. I wasn't thinking lol. Quote

Need to hit on the when you can. I haven’t seen anything on Fleming signing anywhere. Maybe we can retain him. 2nd semester must start Monday. Quote

We almost had an all out brawl between guys from the football and hockey teams one night at the Antique. Fortunately if blew over. When I was in school in the mid/late eighties The football team and the hockey team did get into a pretty decent fight at The Bridge. Quite a few football players with jean jackets pulled over their heads catching lefts and rights. Ian Kidd absolutely rinsed one guy. Our house had a couple scuffles with the football team as well. I know for awhile Behrns and Gino basically banned their players from going to the East Side. Quote

UND is taking a risk at WR but I’m confident it will work out. Most important recruiting battle might be trying to get BJ Fleming back in the building … Quote
UND Football Fan Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago When Danny was here we settled on looking for local FCS, D2 and NAIA talent and did not try for FBS. (Which is fine when taking a chance on an athlete from lower division). In other words I felt Bubba under utilyze this. I am banking Danny and our new hire will be more proactive in finding playmakers at WR. 22 minutes ago, UND-FB-FAN said: I agree with @geaux_sioux (and successful division I coaches) on this one. Bigger questions are what have they done and what do they want to do. To @geaux_sioux’s point, they haven’t done much yet, but I haven't met them. The coaches have. I trust the coaches know something there and these student-athletes can do big things yet in their careers. 1 Quote

We'll have more guys declaring and then when they don't get the offers they wanted they'll want back in. Nope. Be aware of what happens when you opt for the portal, it's the River Of No Return. 1 Quote

SDSU just let a guy come back. Should be handled on a case by case basis 4 Quote

Know several people that are happily married that took breaks while dating. As I said, case by case basis. And yes, @Long Snapper 92 how hot they are helps 🤣 2 Quote

SkoHawks Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I'd welcome Fleming back, as a walk on....as far as I'm concerned, you enter the portal, your scholarship is gone unless you earn it back later... Quote

He played well for us. If he had no academic or legal issues you figure out if he makes us a better FB team. If he does, welcome home, let’s get to work. As long as the NCAA allows players to have agents, the agents are going to try to convince players to enter the portal. Is it the scaled down version of free agency? 1 Quote
