This is off topic so I'll apologize in advance...

I'm curious how and why the long time radio voice of UND Football has a statewide daily radio show and doesn't have the UND coach on the air on a weekly basis (at least during the season), much less hardly ever? 

How is this possible? Am I missing something?

I'm pretty sure Dom Izzo has our head coach on his show more than our radio play by play voice does on his....which isn't much.

The schedule is great for H-F-H weekends this year.  I have been attending those games for around 15 years now and I have never seen 4 in a season.  Typical season is 1 or 2.  I know 10/17 is in books right now, but I am working on 11/7 or 11/21.

As you know, the media coverage of UND could be (and should be) much better. 

Kudos to the guys at UNDFB360 for doing what they have been doing to try address this… but we need more. And should get more.

I try to cover UND Football heavily at From The Stands To The Spotlight! I feel like the main 3 sports the Herald covers heavily is UND  Football,  Hockey and Basketball. New rules changes in D-1 Football  it allows for  ajoint practice during the spring time period between 4 years schools.  Do UND and NDSU schedule a joint practice every spring ie a Spring Game - another revenue source?

I could be wrong, but my guess is NDSU won't want a single thing to do with UND football moving forward,  including scheduling a joint practice. I doubt we will ever be on the same field again.

History shows that Moo U will go out of their way to hurt UND. Remember word was their AD was one of the decision makers that kept us out of the playoffs a few years back and was negative about UND joining the MVFC. No way they do anything to energize North Dakota fans toward UND.

Nice revisionist history.  Which AD tried to get the the rest of the NCC not to schedule the Bison in any sport when we went FCS?  Some of you blame anything that affects your sports negatively on the Bison.

I don't know all about that, but I do remember an AD and President dumping on an entire conference on short notice forcing everyone to reschedule games only months prior to a season that's about the start shortly.

I was pissed at RT and Lennon at the time when NDSU jumped to FCS because I always thought they should have kept playing in spite of it possibly hurting UND's playoff chances.  I always figured the team would still make the playoffs if they earned it and deserved it and the rivalry was to important to stop.  I do think this started a crappy tit for tat situation which has caused dumb decisions on both sides ever since.  Taylor could have taken the high road and didn't which just made things worse.

Su will do everything they can to block anything UND wants to do

need an AD with the balls to fight back 

but this is 5 years down the road so who knows what happens by then 

su will want the state to build a 35000 seat arena for them because they think the state owes it to them
