Playoffs First Round: UND @ Tennessee Tech

That was me and others. I think we schedule cup cakes and lose to the dakota teams we are still in. they arnt keep a MVFC team out at 9-3. Its just not going to happen no matter our SOS. Now a 7-5 team with weak sos yes. This conference is treated differently you get to 8+ wins your automatically in the playoffs as a member of the MVFC, is it fair probably not but thats just how it is, unitl other conferences other then MVFC and Big Sky step up it will stay this way.

The change I see the last four games is X and Z went down. 

We can't win with SS and Jerry splitting carries and Jerry is the leading rusher. 

Brunell and Langama, time to show up big. (PS - two arms ... )

Didn't realize that X got injured, but should have figured it out since he didn't play last weekend.  Do you know if he's done for the year?  We need Z back bad, and the fact that he dressed last weekend I take as a good sign that he'll be available this Saturday.

Participation report says X has 10 GP and Z has 7 GP. 

Langama has 4 GP in regular season (keeps the year) and post-season doesn't count.

If we get Z back, and he's healthy enough to be effective, I like our chances.  Offense should get a big jolt in short yardage situations.  A more consistent run game would ease up the pressure enough to mix in some nice distance (10-20 yards) throwing downs.  I personally am not a big fan of a completed catch down that doesn't yield a first down.

I've gone back and watched highlights of games from earlier this season. It appears to me that Jerry is more accurate when he's on the move. Hopefully, they figure out some ways to roll him out more. I am guessing teams have schemed against that lately.

He needs to learn to run behind his pads. A guy his size should have dominated high school linebackers, and he really didn’t.

Put Mason South ahead of him as lead blocker and the tail back is still bigger.

I kind of forgot Gaven is a senior.  Glad we're still alive to hopefully give him (at least) one more game.  I would feel awful for him if he's played his last game.
