ecbrevik
So, we lose Murray to the Badgers in the same week that we get swept at home by them. Does that mean that David Toews is going to sign with Tech this week? Bite your tongue!
brianvf
Sorry Eric. So, with Bishop leaving the fold, does that mean that there is now another scholarship open for an 07 recruit? Maybe Nash?

Sioux_Hab-it
On behalf of the rest of the WCHA, I'd like to respectfully point out that he has worse stats than a girl. And on behalf of all Sioux hockey fans, I thought Chris would have recognized or known that this is no ordinary girl. http://www.cbc.ca/sports/indepth/feature-szabados.html

Hey, if you can convince her to sit out the year, maybe you guys could recruit her to play goal for you.

I thought getting Bruneteau would mean the end of our hunt for either of these two unless they wished to come in 2008. Now that Bishop has left, I think Nash or Gregoire have a slot. FWIW, Jordan Willert committed to UNO recently. Regarding Dayn Belfour... Wade Belak as his favorite player? Wow. I've heard of him but that's about it. I think that at present some forward was going to have to defer, now we can get 1 more and still have 1 defer OR play Genoway at F and bring in Blood OR just find someone else fo 08. redwing77
I seem to recall a SSM goaltender being one of the top goaltending prospects out there, but I believe it is for 2008 or 2009...
Vegas
Poplawski has committed to Colgate. Would have looked nice in the green and white.
Sioux_Hab-it
Poplawski has committed to Colgate. Would have looked nice in the green and white. Perhaps I am bit biased regarding one of my son's good friends but I believe that Colgate picked up a very intelligent D-man who will give them 100% every shift. Obviously I would have liked to see Wade with the Sioux as one thing they seem to be missing is the physical play from their blueliners. You get plenty of physical play experience in the Manitoba Junior league.
