I think it sounds like Carels is probably going to happen, but if you believe that there are two big defensive names tied to UND, then it would be between those 3 most likely.  Seems pretty optimistic, but with Chyzyk I am becoming more optimistic.

I agree on Carels. I was just throwing out the hypothetical of the other three righties if we were to be targeting them as well.

DuPont 100%, especially at the college level. He’s the best dman in CHL hockey and he’s draft -2. It could be really tough to get him however. I also love Carels game, total stud. But the answer is DuPont.

Local to the Twin Cities and maybe he's only around for one more season, I don't imagine UND would be appealing enough for that change.

Agreed and the next captain as well. I just stated it in another thread but I just don't see them losing anyone they prefer to keep.

Yeah, also not sure if UND is looking for experience to make a push for a national title again next year, or if they would lose out on a player or two like the Rucks’ or Preston who could be around a few years. Not much room beyond the 3 S’s (Simpson, Schultz and Schultz).

Thanks,  Interesting...that article took about 60 seconds of effort from the writer lol.  I think these rating agencies are going to have to eat a lot of crow...puck preps had how many top 10's not even get invited?  These folks are getting exposed for their lack of actual knowledge of the game.

Wish 247 Sports or someone equivalent actually covered NCAA Hockey Recruiting in depth. Puck Preps only does in small doses & they're hit or miss.

They’re basically kids…neutral zone is a bit better. But they’re even fairly off as well.
