Noland listed as starter at CB, is Seidl hurt? Leigh listed at RB.

I tried looking earlier but couldn't find much. Was Noland highly recruited? Competing offers? Was this a guy people were excited about right away, or was he just "a guy" we landed, who is looking to be really good really early?

I believe so. He was mentioned in the mailbag for sure.

Wilkerson was also very high on him when he did the 360 podcast a couple of weeks ago.

KSU is wearing white so we will be green or black tops. I’d vote for the classic green helmet, green jersey, white pants.

If KSU is going white, I'd say go all green. Or green Jersey, grey pants and grey helmet.

Definitely a few surprises on the 2 deep. Also will take a while to get used to the new positions. Dang deng was somewhat quiet on the first part of fall camp, at least in the write ups. Looking forward to seeing what he can do. Definitely a different looking heading into this Saturday than last year....excited to see how they do!

Now that we have decent green tops again, Id like to see this too. Seems like we hardly see that classic combo anymore.

Green helmet, green jersey, white pants, don’t overthink it. But ultimately the team can pick whatever they think is best.

Look good, feel good, play good.

I've been a big fan of this guy since he got here. I like his positive energy and his leadership. Looking for a great year for him.

To me it feels like the safety room is the deepest it has been in a while. Need some great things out of those guys!

It’s not. Very thin. They need to hit on some recruits badly. It’s been about a decade.

Frankfather not good?

Everyone seemed pumped about him when he committed, but I haven't heard anything about him since he got here. Maybe I'm missing something.

Over/Under is currently sitting at -25.5?! Jesus.

Despite a new coaching staff, new defense, and tons of new starters, I think week 1 UND will be a better team than final week UND last year due to morale, leadership and injuries. Guessing they will keep it a decent football game until the 4th and lose by 2 scores or so. Maybe 34-17 or somewhere in that ballpark. I need to find a sports betting app asap.

Iowa State vs USD is at -14.5 which sounds more realistic and is what I was expecting for K state and UND. Guessing it will be closer to -20 by game time.

With that said, Oregon vs Montana state is at -27.5 and Illinois vs Wester Ill is at -45.5 LOL. Am I crazy thinking I should take all these bets as easy lay up wins.

Never forget:

The line is not a score prediction; it is the method to balance the book (equal dollars on each side) so the House doesn't lose, no matter the outcome.

Yes exactly, so when realistic score predictions show to be far different than current spread, it is a likely winner. I don't sports gamble, but it seems the FCS vs FBS games often present obvious high percentage winning opportunities far more often than any other sporting events that I see. Likely due to large numbers of normie college football fans underestimating FCS teams and/or not understanding how small the gap can sometimes get between top FCS teams and FBS teams.

Hasn’t sounded like he’s exactly flourishing

Is Grant Noland’s spot on the depth chart showing how good he performed in camp or how little depth/talent we have at corner? Or both?

Crazy how badly Dixon/Bluiett/Bishop turned out for us.

It’s a mix. He’s been balling. I think Bluiett is injured. There’s also an overall lack of depth. Regardless, anytime a true fr cracks the 2 deep it’s a good thing in my opinion.
