How can that be after an entire page of how Fleck and the Gophers suck?  I don't like Fleck or the Gophers either but it can't be both ways.

If they are good enough for an FBS team to show interest, that means they would make an excellent FCS player.

It can if the "suck" refers to them poaching recruits. :)

Fleck pads his record with 3 cupcakes per year, but conference record doesn't lie.

P.J. Fleck's career Big Ten record at Minnesota is 33-36 as of June 2025, making his Big Ten winning percentage .486, which is the best for a Minnesota coach with at least six seasons since the 1980s.

Again, can't stand the Gophers or Fleck myself, but I think that's SOP for every Big Ten, or power conference school.  I get that being on their radar is a good sign, but is it really that  much of positive if that team sucks??

Glen Mason used to do the same thing. It worked for awhile, but when you keep losing your bowl games, it catches up with you.

Isn't Fleck 6-0 in bowl games? Granted most of them are garbage bowl games.

Haha you are believing ESPN's FPI for rankings, I'd rather look at programs over the last few years. You look at that list and you have multiple teams that just beat teams listed higher on that list last week yet they are several spots below them.

3rd TE in the Gopher recruiting class, that's a heavy TE class unless someone is moving to another position.

Gophers will lose 3 TEs after this season. Rohl is the only Y TE in the class as Voss and Weaver are more H types. Voss in particular is very versatile and they plan to use in some wildcat type stuff as well.

If The Gophers can keep Drake Lindsey, PJ Fleck could find himself pretty successful the next couple of years. Need other units to step up obviously but I think they have something at QB.

ok…

Gopher football is routinely in the bottom-half of their conference… maybe consider the MAC in the future ?…pending the future of college football.

I kid, I kid, sort of…

Ha ha ha........I know in my head there are lots of programs in the expanded Big 10 far better than Minnesota and just happened to come across the ESPN Rankings having them at 14.  In football, teams tend to play better and win games at home if you haven't been following along the past 100 years.

I'm glad you know the Ins and Outs of the Gopher football Roster.  I am a UND Football Fan.

I mean I follow UND football too, had a Kelby Kosterman jersey growing up. I still follow both but I am much much more invested in Gopher football. Your takes on the Big 10 make it pretty clear you do not follow the conference closely at all.

Much more middle of the pack then bottom half under Fleck with a couple of years in the hunt to win the west, now with no more divisions it is hard to ever think they will get to the B1G Championship. Basically looking for the type of season like Indiana had last year as the high end.
