To be fair, it’s people using YHH as a source. Which I don’t really follow, but I would have also thought would be accurate info. By all accounts doesn’t appear to be the case.

I said that as not being serious before they said anything. Oh boy did this catch fire. After they were wrong not even 12 hours ago people are still listening to them is hilarious.

Part of me loves it.

But part of me doesn't.

A nasty, vitriolic college sports rivalry is much better when both programs are good and contending for titles.

But I certainly don't feel sorry for them. Not in the least.

Yes, even though they are rivals, college hockey is better as a whole when the blue bloods are all contending.

So the gophers hired a coach that had confrontations with officials and nice guy Brad Berry!  If he wins though he will garner sainthood like Lucia did.

Saint Cloud is a sinking ship wish we could swap them out for Mankato in the NCHC but alas

After that vote to keep Bruce McLeod they are never getting in.

Wonder who is up in St. Cloud.

Nick Oliver? My best guess at the moment. Can't imagine many coaches updating their resumes for this one!

Definitely KG.  Not sure about Berry - what's he up to these days?

Guessing Berry is watching his son play every weekend and enjoying getting paid for the last year of his contract. Living his best life. I have zero insight on this but I wonder if he ended up doing some sort of scouting or front-office work.

Would guess Dave Shyiak will apply, but even having been an assistant at St. Cloud,  his poor record as head coach at both Anchorage and Northern Michigan would probably disqualify him, along with his age. If Nick Oliver would want to go to a program that has issues, would think he would be the top choice.

Why not?  It's a direct stepping stone to University of Minnesota.

The story of

The Haves: UND, UM, UW, DU, UMD, and CC

The Lucky you have anything’s: Mankato, UAA, SCSU, MTU, BSU

and Raggedy Anne: Omaha

Bruce McLeod was basically old and pissing everyone off fans and teams. So every knew McLeod wasn’t going to ge an extension but the Penn State decided we are going to have a team with the help of Berry Alvarez started the B1G. While the Haves and Raggedy Anne were meeting at the end of the season on want to do without UM and UW. The Lucky to have anything’s gave McLeod an extension behind the Haves and Raggedy Ann’s back thus leading to the breakup of the WCHA. In the end SCSU turned traitor on the other and gave tribute to the Haves to come to the promised land.

Blaming the AD because you suck at recruiting and coaching is weak. Never liked him.

Also, kind of pathetic that the other coaches get the guy who retired to write a letter to the president. Put your big boy pants one and go talk to him, don't hide behind the guy who retired.

She should have lost her job when she tweeted Go Gate as the Yale AD

I'm talking about the president since that is who he wrote the letter to

Oh gotcha, not a fan going above one’s superior administratively before speaking to their immediate supervisor either. Just a granny panty type.😉

I've heard a few negative things about the Yale AD from fans of Colgate, where she used to work, as well as some rumblings from Yale supporters. I also don't think it's a coincidence that Yale has struggled heavily since she moved over from Colgate. Keep in mind that Allain has nothing to gain or lose since he is retired and that he has done more than enough to garner respect and trustworthiness, so I'm inclined to believe him on this.

Interesting that her contract expires in a few months and there's been no announcement of a renewal yet.

What is kind of interesting Yale got worse after they won their National Title in 2013 (only 2015 and 2016 they were above .500). So she wasn’t the problem at all 🤣

Another thing is all the Ivys struggled after 2020-2021 except Cornell. Brown has always sucked, Princeton 1 winning season. Dartmouth 2 winning seasons, and Harvard 2 winning seasons
