cberkas Posted December 16 Author Posted December 16 Justin Cloutier has left Arizona State, played only 4 games. Sounds like he has health issues. Quote

cberkas Posted December 17 Author Posted December 17 Omaha adding onto Baxter Arena (kind of), they are building a training facility across the street and connected to Baxter Arena with a skywalk. Quote
cberkas Posted Thursday at 06:41 PM Author Posted Thursday at 06:41 PM It was a good informative interview. The things that I wished they ask: (Starts around 20-minute mark to the 52-minute mark) The lack of the pre-season training for the refs this year (they normally do this and didn't see it brought up) The inconstancy of calls from period to period to game to game Calling only embellishments when players dive and not both players A player who gets hit and draws a major by grabbing their head and being out on the next power play, should be removed from them grabbing their head (player safety/concussion reasons. This is the most annoying thing that happens outside of diving). "What is goalie interference" He was talking about a review that make me think NCHC needs a "war room" like the NHL to handle reviews. The Sicatoka Posted Friday at 01:41 PM Posted Friday at 01:41 PM Omaha @ Augie tonight and tomorrow on Midco. Having just seen UNO we'll get an idea of how Motzko's replacement's team stacks up. Quote
nascar99 Posted Friday at 04:19 PM Posted Friday at 04:19 PM Crazy how poor Boston University has been this season. Cole Hutson the only one playing at an elite level so far Quote

From what I’ve seen, they have been getting outshot quite a bit, but they have a very good goaltender. Quote
cberkas Posted Friday at 08:13 PM Author Posted Friday at 08:13 PM Mercyhurst has had a depleted lineup the last 5 games dressing 18 to 19 players moving defensemen to play forward. But for North Dakota they should get players back from injury. They have 3 guys out for the year. Quote
brianvf Posted Saturday at 01:40 AM Posted Saturday at 01:40 AM Augie is up 2-0 on UNO toward the end of the 1st. Quote

brianvf Posted Saturday at 05:54 AM Posted Saturday at 05:54 AM I can't believe that Augie is all the way up at #11 in NPI. Schloss wrote an article about the teams adding mid-season players. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/schlossman-midseason-additions-are-coming-to-college-hockey Mentions goalie Langevin for Miami, dman Lindgren for CC (dude played 56 ECHL games last season and 7 in the AHL), the NMU dman/goalie duo, and Hemming for BC. Also notes that teams like WMU and UMN could add a player too since they are short. Quote
cberkas Posted Saturday at 07:15 AM Author Posted Saturday at 07:15 AM After watching the highlights Cowan let in 5 he should have had or like on the first goal, not over commit on a wide shot. I had to go look and see how Augustana did on the pp. They went 2-4 but looked like they had 4 pp goals. Quote

The one thing I’m starting to hate is not saying who said it. If they are willing to say it then they should have their name put to the quote. For example a B1G coach said ”……”, if they are will to say it they should be willing to own it. Quote

That wouldn’t exactly ingratiate Minnesota with Penticton taking a player halfway through the season, especially when Minnesota needs to be building more ties in Canada rather than the opposite. Will be interesting to see what teams do that want to fill spots for the second half. Quote
Godsmack Posted Saturday at 05:26 PM Posted Saturday at 05:26 PM If the season continues to go in its current trajectory for UNO, does the leash get tighter for Gabinet? 1 Quote
