I never said that they wouldn't, but every NCAA team outside of a few like Minnesota will get much of their future rosters from each of the CHL leagues. You'll see fewer non elite NAHL, Minnesota HS, & New England Prep School types go D1. I also don't think the bottom tier USHLers will be NCAA locks anymore either. Of course, there will be fewer Canadian Junior A guys getting D1 interest too. 1 Quote

Popular Post brianvf Posted May 7 Popular Post Posted May 7 Man, what a bad take. Home ice regionals would be so much better. And it seems the only people who oppose it are teams/fans/writers from the east coast that never have to travel more than 1-2 hours to see their favorite teams play in the NCAA tourney. Shocking. 5 Quote

The guy is such an idiot. Playing in front of nobody is not a great experience for any athlete. Wodon will continue to die on that hill no matter how stupid it makes him look. 9 Quote

Embarrassing for him. 1 Quote

brianvf Posted yesterday at 01:16 AM Posted yesterday at 01:16 AM You know more of this is gonna happen too with some of these CHL studs. Played on the same team as Zakreski...and had 19 more pts than him as a dman too. Yowza. Jugnauth had already played 1.5 seasons at UW before playing 1.5 seasons in Portland. Quote

Just gotta get used to it. Happens for NCAA Baseball programs all the time with commits signing pro after the draft. Difference is, player pool is much larger in baseball and they're able to replace guys much easier. Quote

As a MSU fan, this would stink. However, after I thought about it for like a minute, it guessing they just buy another stud. Quote

He sure made the right move changing directions, because at Wisconsin he hadn't grown into the impact player he did at Portland. Of course, we know that those first two years of college hockey can be a huge learning curve, and maybe he just started to catch on and the confidence from the move down a level accelerated his ascent. It sure seems crazy to me that Tampa isn't actively shopping him. I figured they would have traded him by now and he would have signed with whomever traded for him. Quote

I know the Wild had a trade in place with McGroarty for their 13th pick as long as Buium did not fall to them. I expect the same type of trade to happen for Howard. Quote
