Now, that won't eliminate negative feedback, but it will help minimize it, and it's the right thing for the University to do for Jackson.

I was lead on hiring a new CEO a year or so ago. 

I was pretty sure we had the guy internally, but I demanded we spent the time, money, and effort for a national search. Why? As I told the (internal candidate) new CEO, "If we just hired you there'd be skeptics. I, and you, can say you didn't "get" the job but that you won it."

Danny & our son were HS opponents. Son was about to check him & got the worst from that tough little $#|+. Missed the rest of season & career

Was it poor foresight to not get those three? I would say no because Blais and Hak foresight were to bring on Parise, Stafford, Murray, Porter, Zajac, Spirko, etc.

Bubs never had that epiphany moment. 

Hak knew he had to change his way of coaching so he could get 110% out of everyone. Bubs didn't and I believe his players took advantage of him for it.

In the hierarchy of programs that don't belong in the conversation with UND hockey...Nebraska Omaha would be on my list.

I get that people are scouring the coaching ranks for talent, but a lot of names that have popped up are with programs that should not be uttered in the same sentence as Fighting Sioux.

I'm open minded enough to accept that.  He could be the greatest guy and Dean Blais, Herb Brooks, Jack Parker and Mother Theresa incarnate as a coach and human.   I just have little to no respect for SCSU and Augustana as either hockey programs or institutions of higher learning.  Not trying to poke any bears.  Just saying.  

I have no hate for the man, I have respect for what he's accomplished.  I just don't really respect those schools.
