GF Herald reporting that UND vs. Western will be the primetime game.  Kind of surprising...

Surprised, but wondering if the NCHC and the X had a bit of pursuing to move it to primetime($$$$$$)

I know there's the argument for letting the No. 1 seed play early to "protect" them for the next game, but I'd say you want to showcase your best optics in primetime.  League's best team playing against league's largest fan base seems like a no-brainer to me.

That’s a new argument.  We used to complain about the “Gopher Rule” all the time around here, remember?

I guess that's what I am saying - everyone should want the primetime game.  The WCHA had it pretty lucky that they could have either UND or Minnesota (or sometimes even Wisconsin) in the primetime game and have great optics.

You would think western would want the afternoon game and hope for a smaller UND fan showing
