We still have UND hockey for a while yet this year. That’s one thing!

Some here were saying that abouts maks and social distancing during the p(l)andemic.

I don’t envy gf’s loyalty to UMD, but that boner he has for them is a thing to behold.

I thought it was just for Sandy.

Duluth is a very well coached team but with far less talent than UND. We'll see which matters more this weekend. I'm nervous.

The one thing is that Duluth's top players are producing big-time as of late. And as we learned with Alex bump, if you have one line that is really good, you can beat UND into the ground. Our top players aren't consistent enough to match the top end of theirs but our depth "should" be better haha.

Then you should be a DU fan. Your obsession with Scott Sandelin and UMD has to be something else as it borders on creepy.

Whoever puts more nattys on shelf with less I like

Is it a boner, if you can't tell it's a boner?  You know what they say about compensation!

Hopefully we hear some good news tomorrow on if Perron and/or Boisvert might be available to play this weekend.

With all the talk going around, I am just as concerned if not more so if they will be available next year!

There were some good signs at UND's practice Wednesday.

Jackson Kunz, who missed last weekend's series at Denver due to illness, was a full participant.
Sacha Boisvert, who missed the series finale at Denver due to an undisclosed injury, also skated.

Both could be in the lineup at 7:07 p.m. Friday when UND hosts Minnesota Duluth in Ralph Engelstad Arena.

Berry said Boisvert is day-to-day.

"He skated with us today and looks good," UND coach Brad Berry said. "We've just got to go through tomorrow and see what that looks like. Sacha has a good chance of coming in the lineup."

Perron has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury. He sustained it during the first period of a series against Colorado College two weeks ago. The third-round Carolina Hurricanes pick has resumed skating but has not been a full participant in practice.

Montgomery, who suffered an upper-body injury last Friday in Denver, has not returned to practice yet.

Is it bad to say that I’d rather see Andrew in the lineup than Kunz? I’d feel differently if Kunz were put on the 4th line where he belongs but we know Berry can’t help but out an offensively challenged senior in a scoring role.

Here's a crazy stat:

Andrew - last goal was Dec 6 against Miami
Kunz - last goal was Dec 7 against Miami
Jamernik - last goal was Nov 8 against UMD

It's a sweep if they're paying attention to video on Knapp. Just gotta get some across the ice plays in front of him where they can get a solid stick on it. He doesn't move from post to post well at all. Couldn't believe how obvious it was last Friday vs. AZ.

-Sioux fan in Duluth.

Mostly a 5th wheel.

When he's on, he's good (a rarity) .. when he's off, he's invisible. Doesn't strike me as a guy who's passionate about winning.

Reminds me of another Grand Forks player in Judd Caulfield.
