Simply was curious if he skated off or picked up a new stick on the fly to try get back into the play. Yes, in hindsight he probably should have just tried to slow down one of the DU guys on the rush. Could it be it's the natural forward thing to do when breaking a stick is go get a new one? Happens all the time. Forward mentality go get a new stick, there should be 2 defenders behind me. Oops, I am one of those defenders. I can see this as a real possibility. It probably is one of the cons too playing a forward as defender.

The difference is, we have a fancy arena that makes the crap on the ice acceptable to watch. The only way Berry is replaced as HC is if he leaves or retires. The AD doesn’t have the balls to do it and Berry had Kris Engelstad in his corner. Maybe KEM can use Brad as a coach elsewhere, her on board makes changes much more easily navigated. datameisterq
I'm asking for a friend who owns the domain name "firebradberry.com" if it makes sense to put that site into production. Any help for this friend I'm sure would be appreciated.

Berry quote in herald today. “if you let TJ stop and cover it, and us identify the guy coming from behind and dig into him, he doesn’t get a stick on it,” Berry said. “It’s just basic hockey.”

SIOUXELEVENS
So Berry seems to know what’s wrong but at the end of the day why doesn’t he fix it. I would bet he changes his lines more then anyone in the country , he probably would have separated Hrkac and Joyce.

God forbid it drags out that long. It's possible, Berenson stayed with MI until he was 77. Never heard of an average coach voluntarily stepping down, they usually have to be canned. You are right, it shouldn’t be tolerable but most people that go to the games are there to socialize, same as those “destination” games. It’s the same reason fans go to Target field. i don’t think any of us are dying for a national title every year but the expectation of being in the top 3 in our conference and doing good in the national tournament is something that should be the standard.

Well, Brad usually has the first thing covered (top 3 in conference) but he's a little light in the successful national tourney department. The most frustrating part of the Berry regime can’t be understated: 1 NCAA tournament win in 7 seasons. His hot seat would literally be on fire if that 2020 team had gone 0-1 in the dance. On the flip side, if UND wins the 2020 national title, we’re not even having this conversation today.
MafiaMan
In an unrelated story, my decision to drive to Cedar Rapids IA to see Loverboy and REO Speedwagon last week as opposed to Grand Forks to see a sweep at the hands of Denver turned out to be a pure genius move.

AlphaMikeFoxtrot
Last night was winnable; players who would normally be in suits made mistakes that made the difference. Yeah I’d love to see him start firing away more and even if he hits the goalie, let our boys around dig deep and clean up the rebounds. We played a lot of “one too many passes” last night when we had chances to shoot low at a pad and create some chaos.

It’s actually 7 as there was no tournament in 2020 but your point stands.
