100% truth.  It’s a simple fact.  1 NCAA win since 2016 over AIC would be acceptable for a school called Ohio State, Northern Michigan, Northeastern, or Niagara.  

Contrary to popular belief, Penrose Cups should NOT be the new gold standard.

Hey, can we not drag the good name of Ohio State hockey down to the level of UND’s?!?  The Buckeyes were playing in the frozen four back in 2018.  (OSU also won another NCAA game in 2023 too).  Good grief, this program has gone off the rails ….

What really grinds my gears about this staff is that it is now February and we have made zero progress correcting the stupid mistakes we made at the beginning of the season - none.   We still have no-look passes that burn us and horrible passing in general, still have bad turnovers in our zone, still take stupid penalties at the worst times, can't get our shots on goal, and for some reason can't play a full 40 minutes to save our souls.  And going into a prevent mentality with a lead burns us game after game.  Time for a whole new staff.

As a follow-up to my own post, I’m also tired of a pass being given for the 2020 season as folks just assume UND would have rolled to a national title.  Imagine the inferno underneath Berry’s seat right now had they played in the NCAA tournament and either lost in the first or second round and didn’t even make the Frozen Four.

Exactly.  Another 0-1 Frozen Faceoff followed by an 0-1 or 1-1 NCAA tournament performance.  Outside of 2016’s semi-final win over DU, Berry’s teams pucker up tighter than a snare drum when it’s crunch time.

What gets me is when they spout off about our culture is that of “next man up”, then when they do a postgame after a loss or discuss why they are underachieving they inevitably bring up injuries as an excuse.  Last night the announcers were lamenting all game about Perron being out.  You had a lead in the second, why can’t you play sound defense to help out?

I like Brad Berry. I've made thousands of dollars betting against the team. It is great knowing that they will lose almost every game, but for some reason, Vegas keeps giving them points. Quit bitching guys and bet the money line on the other team.

This would make more sense if they were below .500.
