It's been a big difference maker we've been missing. It boggles my mind how inept our kicking game had been in the D1 era compared to the D2 era when UND had a great kicking game. Kicking a football is not that hard; especially when that’s all you do and practice it hours a day each and every day. You would think one of the 7500 males walking the campus every day could step on the field and do a better job. 1 Quote

I think you’re confusing me with someone else. Just pointing out what the top teams in the fcs have at kicker. You want something the top teams don’t even have. Let’s be realistic buddy 1 Quote

I will adjust my expectations. Quote

I remember during the game me asking how come the other team is able to get guys wide open without a DB within 5 yards.....and we did right there and should have been and easy TD. That throw and the very first throw he threw it into the ground were rough. As Tom Miller pointed out, Tommy's numbers were not much better versus FBS schools. Hopefully Simon will feel much more relaxed playing at home this weekend, this will be the real test of where we are at with QB. I'm rooting for Romfo to do well, but also still a little skeptical about his throwing until I see him do it. 5 Quote
Big Green Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Romfo seems to buy time with his legs until Bo was able to get open and find him for the 1st down a few times. I question whether Jerry would be able to do that. Romfo was also able to scramble for some nice runs. I like that we played an FBS team right before Montana. Everything should slow down for Romfo vs Montana. Hoping to see him run the offense much better in front of a friendly crowd the next 4 week and go to Fargo feeling much more comfortable running the offence. Quote

The same coach(s) that win about 51% of their games over 20 years? Without seeing Trey or Jerry run in a meaningjul game I don't know but assuming Simon is the better of them as far as running but after 7 years of noodle arm and zero playoff wins* I want to see the ball go more than 5 yds downfield like we used to do in our D2 days of glory.... #bringbackkelbyklostermann 1 Quote

He likes to troll the NDSU guys with jabs at them and probably tries to get under their skin by promoting UND. I doubt he cares about much outside of the FM metro area. 1 Quote
