Second question: Can a big donor specify where the money goes? PS. If this is true, I guess we'll need another Ralph to compete. Michael Misa, a 17 year old Canadian hockey phenom, is making waves in the sports world with news of a lucrative NIL package being offered to him to play for Boston College next season. The $1.4 million deal is testament to his exceptional talent and potential as a top prospect in the 2025 NHL draft. Also, if it were TRUE that he was offered that much money and he is a top prospect for the NHL, he ain't going to BC, he's going to the show. Quote

I bought three different T-shirts. I like the black ones the best. I have a Jamernik, Sacha and T.J shirt. We also got my daughter a black Jamernik jersey for Christmas, they're very nice. I think it's cool you can can buy their jerseys while they're still playing. I think it was well past time to pay the players for using their likeness. 2 Quote

In all of the discussions ahead of the NCAA opening up the path for major junior players, you almost never heard anyone talking about how many college players might choose to leave college and go to a junior team, knowing they could possibly return. 1 Quote

This would allows schools to join but not necessarily join a conference they don't fit in. It would also relieve some pressure from conferences to take teams as they would have an opportunity to make the tournament. I think Huntsville would restart in this scenario and that is good for college hockey. Quote
