They are not bad; they basically copy how the NHL has a person between the benches. They just need someone that knows hockey better to go with the PxP guy. Some Cronkite alums/students are not happy about the local FOX station doing games. Quote

AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted September 12 Posted September 12 I'm very much on board with this rebranding of FSN rather than Bally Sports. Quote
brianvf Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Lucius will miss some time at the beginning of the season from the sounds of it: Quote Arizona State forward Cruz Lucius is dealing with a lower-body injury and head coach Greg Powers said Lucius will miss some time. Powers didn't give any specific timeline, though. "It's obviously fluid, but hopefully not too much," Powers said. "Right now, he's probably going to miss a little bit of time." https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/nchc-media-day-notes-tommies-confident-in-their-position-moving-forward Quote

fightingsioux4life Posted September 19 Posted September 19 I know what group I want UND in. And it's not the "FCS group". The other NCHC schools had better "Opt-In" on this as well. Quote
farce poobah Posted September 19 Posted September 19 In the comments to McMahon's tweets above, someone notes that Hockey East is at risk of splitting up - the Boston schools which have loads of money and will happily buy as many trophies as they can, contrasted with the smaller schools and lower budget schools that might rather stay with 18 scholarships and no revenue sharing. I think, a decade after the first attempts, the NCHC can become "National" and pick up some high profile Eastern schools. 1 Quote

brianvf Posted September 21 Posted September 21 That’s a weird turn of events. I wonder if he didn’t get an offer he wanted from the pros but by then he had already burned the UMN bridge? Quote
.357 Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Probably unrelated, but with MN's top prospects like Berchild & Lutner going elsewhere & their highest scorer from last season transferring, seems like something's a little off with that program. Maybe it's a temporary rough patch that all big programs experience occasionally, or a sign of something deeper. Would be interesting to know if he reached out to UND or any other schools. I mean, MI seems like it would have been a good fit for him; as I thought they were hemorrhaging at top forwards this year & they could have very much made room for him. Quote

I wonder if he was told by Motzko that he wouldn't be on top line, or maybe not even second line (they have some real talent coming in at forward positions). He did get benched at times last year.
