Just looking back on Harvard pre season high ranking. So far 3-11-3 and 52 in pairwise. Just how much bias went into that early ranking?

They do have 9 NHL draft picks on their roster. Last year, were 24-8-2.    As much as I love to see Harvard fall flat on their face, this is unexpected to be sure.

Little help here…who, beside St Cloud still has an Olympic ice sheet?  I was thinking it was just one other team…and not Minnesota; they converted theirs already I believe.

i’ll hang up and listen.

Northern is a hybrid…200x94.  Alaska is an Olympic sheet (200x100).

Thanks.

New Hampshire? I thought I remember reading they’re the last ones to have built one in college.

Yeah, they shrunk in 2022 after I looked it up. In same article from Brad, it is indeed Alaska Fairbanks. UMass is close but not full 100’(they’re 95’) wide.

Kind of bittersweet to see them disappearing. Always found it interesting to see how UND adjusted playing in those rinks.

Good riddance. I never liked Olympic ice.

UMN got the split with MSU, moving them up to #9 in the PWR.
They were on the bubble for a few weeks there...they seem to have played themselves more firmly into the tourney now.

Big weekend next week for them against the Badgers

Noah Laba is having himself a season.  He scored an OT goal to beat UND last month, and he had the OT goal in both games this weekend, at Western.

Omaha and St. Cloud tied 1-1 OT

Omaha wins the shootout 1-0

This weekend was huge for UND in the NCHC standings.
SCSU gets one point all weekend against UNO and DU gets zero points against UND.
