cberkas Posted January 27, 2024 Author Posted January 27, 2024 Geno and Jim crying about the goalie interference in OT.
Godsmack Posted January 27, 2024 Posted January 27, 2024 That 7-6 OT score reminds me of a 1980’s/‘90’s college hockey game! Defense and goaltending optional!

Just how much bias went into that early ranking? They do have 9 NHL draft picks on their roster. Last year, were 24-8-2. As much as I love to see Harvard fall flat on their face, this is unexpected to be sure. 2
Blackheart Posted January 27, 2024 Posted January 27, 2024 Little help here…who, beside St Cloud still has an Olympic ice sheet? I was thinking it was just one other team…and not Minnesota; they converted theirs already I believe. i’ll hang up and listen.

In same article from Brad, it is indeed Alaska Fairbanks. UMass is close but not full 100’(they’re 95’) wide. Link: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/und-set-to-play-on-one-of-the-last-remaining-olympic-sized-ice-sheets-in-college-hockey Kind of bittersweet to see them disappearing. Always found it interesting to see how UND adjusted playing in those rinks.

brianvf Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 UMN got the split with MSU, moving them up to #9 in the PWR. They were on the bubble for a few weeks there...they seem to have played themselves more firmly into the tourney now.

tnt Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 7 goals in the first 14 minutes between Wisconsin and Michigan!
cberkas Posted January 28, 2024 Author Posted January 28, 2024 CC beats Western Michigan 2-1 OT Don’t play CC in OT, 5-1-1 in OT
jk Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 Noah Laba is having himself a season. He scored an OT goal to beat UND last month, and he had the OT goal in both games this weekend, at Western. 2
cberkas Posted January 28, 2024 Author Posted January 28, 2024 Omaha and St. Cloud tied 1-1 OT Omaha wins the shootout 1-0
cberkas Posted January 28, 2024 Author Posted January 28, 2024 Why Miami is bad, a Duluth player is injured on the pk and you don't exploit that side of the ice while he's hobbling around in the ice.
