Cratter
I suppose its time for a whole state thread. Had gf and oil boom. Guy on hugely popular Shark Tank says he bring companies to Fargo.
Kab
CNN staff aren’t used to hearing the truth they all looked in disbelief that someone had the guts to tell the truth I'm sure a couple of governors didn’t like what they heard either
CMSioux
Isn't it there already a shortage of available workers in North Dakota (that's what company executives are saying in Grand Forks) and every business in Fargo is trying to hire Not to mention trying to keep those who are not used to real winters. And you don't even want to think about POC invading.

And keep the racism off the board. 1
UNDBIZ
And let's not have this thread just be political shots. There is value to discussing the state's economy without getting into red v blue.
90siouxfan
I'm apparently quite naive or the post was edited, didn't see any racism? Been educated that POC is not "piece of crap" from the non swearing vernacular part of society. The more you know...

Being on shark tank guy has some pull in the business sector.

Fortunately the Bank of ND's primary customers are ND government agencies (other than arranging loans with smaller banks), so not as much risk of a run on cash.
SIOUXFAN97
Could the bank of ND use this debacle to "buy or acquire" some of the douche baggery banks in blue states run by douche bags and make some money off these dumb douche bags? If anything, the current state of affairs will hurt local banks. Anyone with substantial deposits, or businesses, would be rather foolish to have their funds in a local bank over the FDIC limit.
