CNN staff aren’t used to hearing the truth

they all looked in disbelief that someone had the guts to tell the truth

I'm sure a couple of governors didn’t like what they heard either

Isn't it there already a shortage of available workers in North Dakota (that's what company executives are saying in Grand Forks) and every business in Fargo is trying to hire Not to mention trying to keep  those who are not used to real winters. And you don't even want to think about POC invading.

I believe O'Leary mentioned the employees are still in Boston working from home.  And keep the racism off the board.

And let's not have this thread just be political shots.  There is value to discussing the state's economy without getting into red v blue.

Yes.

I thought it was cool to hear him mention Fargo. Being on shark tank guy has some pull in the business sector.

The kiss of death.

Haha not a great track record there.  Fortunately the Bank of ND's primary customers are ND government agencies (other than arranging loans with smaller banks), so not as much risk of a run on cash.

how about alerus, gate city, or the credit union in the old 7-11 store...red state banks feeding off the leftovers of blue state failing banks....?

If anything, the current state of affairs will hurt local banks.  Anyone with substantial deposits, or businesses, would be rather foolish to have their funds in a local bank over the FDIC limit.

Doesn't have anything to do with politics, but this past summer Alerus made it's biggest acquisition to date, in phoenix.  https://www.alerus.com/newsroom/alerus-completes-acquisition-of-metro-phoenix-bank/  Love how they seem to target snow birds.

Alerus stock is down 60% from its high.  So they've got their own problems.

so your saying that them not having their GIGANTIC alerus logo from the 20 yard line to the other 20 yard line at the alerus center was a bad bad idea  :)
