Yes, Hakim (WR) from Shanley High.  Although he was a PW.  I

^If this doesn’t bring a smile, then I don’t know if you can call yourself a UND fan. Awesome stuff. Jake Schauer doing great work at GFC, by the way. Did great things at Thompson and Park River before.

Awesome. Like I mentioned with Paye, kudos to GFC HS coach Jake Schauer for his solid work thus far. More good things to come. GFC being good is good for UND FB, also.

Crazy awesome potential for all 3, which is all you can ask for in recruiting. Time will tell.

Got to watch Deng recently at an AAU event, athleticism is off the charts.

Paye and Deng just feel different than just about any recruit I can remember in recent memory. They physically just look the part of a big-time athlete. More than that, two local (ND) guys, main sport up to this point not being Football. You just get the feeling that their ceilings are off the charts.

Ha! Big and fast is an understatement. If he puts in the work, sky is the limit for him given his athleticism. Ceiling is higher than recent bigs/fasts: Maag, Toivonen, and Wanzek. Excited to see how it plays out.

I'll also say, UND has also greatly improved their graphics / recruit picture set up the last few years.

You have to wonder if Toivanen signing with the Vikings didn't help make the case that you can get there from here.

Maag signed with Vikings.  Toivanen was released and played in USFL or whatever the league is.
