My concern every year has to be pairwise.

As it should be.   Fortunately, this team has banked some very good pairwise points.  They have to keep winning, obviously, since loses against pairwise-poor teams are costly.

I'm of the opinion they should coast from here on out, they have enough talent to win on talent alone. Probably don't even need to dress a goalie.

No doubt.  Playing a full 20-30 should be enough.   Save it for the tourney.  Why not default on a few in Feb-March and let the boys unwind in Cancun during spring break.  Piss in some elevators.  Use it as a recruiting pitch.

In June, didn't most fans here predict that UND would be ranked #2 after the toughest part of the schedule?

Ranked #2 or be called "#2".

Pretty sure predictions were the latter. ;)

How many Judy's gift cards did you say you needed @gfhockey to pick up for you as Christmas gifts? Who are they for?

Cripes.   Hate to see what Sioux fans would do if things were going as badly in GF as they are in Daloot.   They can't beat anybody better than Northern or Bemidji and they play dirty to boot.  Their coaches must have tenure.

Watching the scuffle, definitely didn't need to happen. Geno ranted about how cowardly it is to spear an opponent while the cameraman focused on Spicer, curious if he did something off screen. He and Salquist exchanged some words too.

I watched it on nchc.tv, it happened at the end of the game

I think Duluth needs to learn how to use their words.  They appear very frustrated.;)

Very early look at the PWR, the top 16 breaks down like this:

ECAC - 1 - QU
HEA - 6 - BU, BC, Maine, UNH, Prov, UMass
NCHC - 4 - DU, UND, SCSU, WMU
CCHA - 0
B10 - 4 - MSU, UW, UMN, ND
Indy - 1 - ASU

Some surprises in there so far.
The highest CCHA team is way down at #27, Mankato.
All 6 HEA teams are in the top 11.  I imagine that 1 or 2 of those teams will drop out of the running as they beat each other up in the regular season.
Michigan down at #22.

The current B10 standings would have been hard to predict entering the season... :)
MSU, UW, and ND lead the way...with Mich at 4th and UMN down in 6th.

Gonna be a fun season to watch play out!

Notre Dame and Western Michigan would be out for CCHA and Atlantic

3 championships will give you that.
