Yeah, wonder what the hold up is for both basketball teams in releasing their non-conference schedules?

might as well start looking at other schools schedules to see what its going to be

A matchup with Olivia Lane

Nov 25th: GCU

Nov 26th: Manhatten

Interesting

Did lane go to GCU? Whatever that is

sure wish she could’ve stayed one more year but wish her well

Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. I think she was injured early in the summer (knee) and may miss the early season.

We should be better this year compared to last year

It will come down to 2 things in my mind

1) Can they get adequte replacements for Leet and Lane?

2) Are the freshman (Beal, Hurst) ready to be big time contributors?

If the answer to those questions are a resounding yes, then UND is going to be a top 3 team in the Summit.

I believe Hurst will be given every opportunity to make big impact we need somebody fill Lanes roll on front line. Vanderwal will more likely be asked to fill Leets role on the team. From scoring impact I believe it will be Bieniewicz the transfer. Jardine will probably also get a look at for the front line in the preseason conference schedule. Beal is unknown factor and see where she will fit in the coming season. Also where does McCarthy and Gordon fit in the coming season and what roles they can play on the team. The other newcomers of Roach and Aumer I believe will be limited on playing time this year because being behind Davis,Danniger, Orth, and Manson being junior or senior/5 year players. The biggest opportunities will be on front line and that will be looked at Hurst, Vanderwal, Jardine and McCarthy to fill that roll. The guard play will come from Orth,Borociwz, Danniger, and Davis. The roll of small forward or large guard will between Gordon, Beal, and Hoskins. This should be fun season I believe we have more talent and depth for many years but again with loss of lane we are missing that talented front line person with proven ability to score and rebound plus play good defense down low.

I would think a Central Michigan trip is in there somewhere because NDSU is out in Michigan as well

Predicted to finish in 4th, i think 3rd is attainable with this team. Let’s go Sioux!

Agreed, and even 2nd is within striking distance depending on how USD adapts to a new staff.
