Agreed. I really enjoy a good play-by-play announcer on the TV. It really adds a new dimension to the game.

Jake has calmed down after his manic game a few weeks ago. Much better. He has been adding color commentary, as e should, not just babbling.

Jody worked at WDAZ for a while, then WDAY before taking the Midco prep sports gig. We are in much better hands with him over David Brown, at least hockey wise. Not sure about football, basketball, or volleyball. Jake is so much more at ease without having to fill in words for a speechless Brown.

Is Jody replacing David Brown permanently, or just tonight/this weekend?

I completely agree that he’s much better.  Much easier to listen to and he seems much more comfortable.
