Its possible that Gabinet cut his scholarship and/or suggested he leave. But yeah, that's too much turnover on a roster that's otherwise not experiencing a coaching change (like BGSU last year). As I suspected, no program has been as “consistent” about being in the mix every year. As someone else mentioned that won’t stop the teeth knashing of the “natty or bust” crowd. However, I think level headed adults can recognize how impressive that is without qualifying it with “but where are da nattys?” 4 Quote

Truth is, I think the coach spoke volumes (and correctly) by scratching him for the quarter finals. The crowd here is pretty rough on Gabinet, but young guys can make mistakes by over reaching. Can’t compare him to Denver’s coach, that kid got a ready made contender to start with… Quote

Prior, it’s safe to say, they didn’t really have the horses like they did this year. Quote
