Tons of talent coming out of the Twin Cities. Minnesota in VB is like Alabama in FB. Going there is almost impossible to win. Going to Lincoln would be just as rough. UND needs to be at least a three seed in their regionals in order to win one match. Recruits follow this much more than the general population. Minneapolis doesn't mean much to recruits, but winning does.

That can spawn more attendance down the road, and gaining better recruits. That's all I saying. I'm sure the team would not trade their BSC championship for it. No one views the NIT as better than the NCAA tournament. It's a consolation bracket. Neat to play in and even better to win, but everyone wants to go to the big dance.

Winning in post-season can build a program more than an annual beat down by the Gophers.
geaux_sioux
Watching Stanford vs Texas right now. Stanford has 3 players over 6'6" tall. How are you supposed to block that?

Dustin
Florida went up 2-0 over Stanford, then had to win it in 5 sets before clinching their spot in the national title match. Nebraska vs. Florida on Saturday night. Florida has been to the final four a number of times, but has never won it. Nebraska is an NCAA powerhouse with 4 nattys. SiouxVolley
Have a relative that just started the AAU circuit (think that’s it). Pryor knows her and she probably is not DI caliber yet and has attended weekend matches of many teams. Pryor does not act as if he is leaving,
Teeder11
Ran into Coach P awhile back, and per usual, was excited for the upcoming season. Talked about a new recruit coming in from Finland (TBA later this spring) who will be another solid addition. He loves it here.

UND has a good thing going with their VB program and hopefully Coach Pryor is around for awhile and takes the program to the level where they can win a match in the NCAA.
