Must have been forever...  No ski lifts over any highways.  Plus they have the original Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.  Plus a multitude of microbreweries and even High West Distillery & Saloon.

Probably, the only time I hate Park City is during Sundance Film Festival.

More years than I care to admit. :)

Park City is a little too smug for me.

Two weeks from now, we'll be saying "we could ah, should ah, won that one last night. We played good enough, we deserved a W."

Mark it down as a QUALITY LOSS.

That's the last one that gets away from us this season!

I find it highly unlikely they would have any issue at all with fans wearing Fighting Sioux gear.  One, because of the first amendment and two, because Utah has a Native American moniker.  It would be very hypocritical if they were to ban Fighting Sioux Native America gear while allowing Ute Native American gear.

Utah has a Native American moniker and a zero tolerance policy on using anything other than the name.  Anything with Native American imagery could/will get you kicked out.

Yeah don't go wearing a war bonnet or face paint.... They aren't going to apply that to Fighting Sioux sports paraphernalia or a  Redskins sweat shirt.  Basically, don't dress in a way that could be considered mocking of Native Americans.

With hats like this you are pretty safe with most stuff...

Speaking of imagery, when are one of you football gurus going to start the Utah Lookalike thread?  It's gotta be getting close to time to crank up those threads again...

With this game approaching, I am becoming more concerned about the University of North Dakota's ability to handle the environment in Utah. In 2015, the University of North Dakota played in two high-intensity college football environments: North Dakota State University and the University of Montana. Both games ended very poorly for the University of North Dakota.  Wyoming is also a consideration from that year. That win remains a promising staple from 2015; of course, that Wyoming team was also very very bad.  UND will have to do a much better job of handling the crowd noise on August 31st. If anything, the matchup should prepare the Fighting Hawks for their October 14th game against the University of Montana in Missoula. That game, ultimately, will be more important due to its conference implications.

Bottom line: if the Fighting Hawks can prevent big plays on defense and get their three-headed rushing attack going, they may just be able to offset some of the crowd noise and pull off the upset.

UND was a young and experienced team in 2015.  Wyoming had a good outcome because we jumped out to a lead and played that way the whole game.  No so with either SU or UM exact for Santiago's first score.

It will be a big uphill battle in Utah but I'm putting money on UND with that 22 point spread.  UND definitely covers.

Utah will not be as loud as NDSU. It will be very loud but it won't be as loud as 20,000 fat mouth breathers with over a decade of built up angst packed together under a metal roof.

Right now we are looking at having our star safety, starting center and backup RB out for the game.  Fortunately we have lots of depth at RB for now.  But yeah we always have an injury bug.

Both Hansen (SS) and Falemaka (Center) should play Game 1

Crazy for a two time captain to not start. Good for the coaches for not falling into the seniority trap.

Reports from camp has been that Williams was improved from last year and that Huntley straight beat him out. He has drawn many comparisons to Lamar Jackson from Louisville (style of game, not talent level).

We'll have to stay in our lanes defensively.......

Utah is looking pretty tough on paper.  Our LBs need to make plays in open space and the guys this year are more capable than Bakker and O'Brien.

You forget we have natural acoustics off the mountain side... kind of an amphitheater effect.    Well, that and over twice the mouth breathers. ;)

I was hoping you guys would have stuck with Williams, as Huntley sounds like he is a better runner/scrambler.  Those types of QB's can be frustrating to play when they end up making big plays out of nothing.
