After further review and a few more calls, turns out the Big Sky refs actually just continue to be horrible across the board.

Then this year will be resounding success. Like with Mussman you see a point with a program where it's broken beyond repair. It's been this way with Jones for as long as I can remember. Get a young coach that has something to prove and see what he can do.

I am not trying to pile on Jones, but I have a feeling that after watching that performance, Faison might have just made up his mind about next years coaching situation. I could be wrong.

-Held them under 100 (and within 9 of their scoring average!) 
-No end of game issues and allowed them to successfully run out the clock.

This has to be it. Most of us have known Jones can't coach winning basketball or rally the troops, so to speak, for some time now, but finally the contract year aspect of this whole fiasco will allow for much-needed new UND MBB leadership.

A couple years old now, as Jones base is over $100,000 now. Here's what Weber fans had to say about the UND coach when comparing Big Sky salaries to performance (taken from their message board):

Their opinion might have changed a bit after the big sky semi against UND last year.
