One smaller change in the PWR - giving a bonus for road wins - is having a real impact on this weekend's scheduling.   Namely the Big Money er Big Ten is going on the road.

Pretty sure without it we'd never have seen all this on one night:

Wisconsin at St Lawrence

Minnesota at Clarkson

Michigan at Vermont

Some years back, Cornell was in town and Coach Schafer was gracious enough to speak at Sioux boosters and he addressed the fact that certain "big" schools refused to travel. He said he liked scheduling games against teams like North Dakota because they'll return the favor by traveling to their barn. I took his comments as a direct shot at programs like Minnesota and Michigan.

We aren't returning the favor for Lake State or Canisius any time soon.

Ohio State leads Niagara 8-1

Wisconsin and St. Lawrence tied 2-2

Penn State leads Canisius 3-0

Michigan State leads Princeton 3-1

Michigan Tech leads Northern Michigan 1-0

Ferris State leads Mankato 1-0

Alaska leads LSSU 2-0

Maine leads Colgate 1-0

BC leads Providence 3-1

Alaska and LSSU tied 2-2

Bemidji leads UAA 1-0
