I see you guys beat BYU.  How did the team look?

Very sloppy... we left like 4 touchdowns on the field and settled for FGs due to stupid penalties.  Statwise we dominated them but gave them 6 easy points with a fumble on our 20.

For sure, I watched the game and Utah totally controlled the play.

Like I said on your board, the Utes were athletically superior and it was obvious.

Southern Utah throws 3 INT's including a pick 6 and one that was returned to their 15 yard line, but holds NIU to -14 yards rushing (lots of sacks for negative yardage as I watched the second half) and beats NIU 24-21.  Since it was a road loss though for NIU and they kept it close, probably warrants moving up a couple spots in the polls.

SUU played UNI yesterday.   NIU played and beat Nebraska.

Besides UND, great job by the Big Sky yesterday! Idaho State / SUU with two huge victories for the conference. Montana / Eastern Washington taking care of business as well, with the only other non-conference loss (besides UND) was NoCo to Colorado. Very important week setting the stage for conference play.

Sac's loss to Weber and PSU's loss to Davis are non conference losses

Interesting, although it doesn't affect the conference vs conference non-conference schedule, when were these games added? I'm guessing they don't play each other in conference this year, but how early do teams get this years conference schedule? Was there a chance that Sac / Weber would play each other twice?

the conference back in 2012 when you guys joined released the conference schedules up till 2018. Which gave the schools time to schedule their ooc schedules. And schools who didnt play in the conf season were allowed to schedule conference mates as OOC. Weber and Sac have played an ooc game against each other for 4 straight years, because they didnt play conference games those years

USD pouring it on Western Illinois.  Up 31-6 with 9 minutes left in the 3rd.

Streveler will run away with FCS player of the year if he stays healthy.   He is so good.

Just going post that.  They are absolutely dominating. 404 yards to 172 so far.   I would venture to say best team in mvfc

They match up with anyone.  Beat sdsu last year and lost by 7 to the team to the south.   They are much better this year.  Barring injuries of course.

Our loss to USD doesn't look quite as bad know, but our follow up loss to MSU kind of cemented our perception this year, which unfortunately is also reality.  Will be interesting to see how the USD verses SDSU and NDSU turns out.  Hoping Streveler stays healthy the rest of the year and knocks them both off.

We all may need to pump the breaks on the USD train...call it letting off the gas by USD if you like, but 21 unanaswered by WIU and 3 straight drives without a first down here from USD would have me concerned if I was a USD fan heading into Valley play.
