Wilbur Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Great shift Rocco. SUPERB! 1-0 Astros. Quote
SiouxScore Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Berrios loses command for 2 hitters and then the shift strikes again and the Astros take advantage for a run. Meanwhile Twins can't make solid contact at all. Lot of weak fly balls on very very hittable fastballs. Quote
Username Taken Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 A 1 run lead by the opposing team seems insurmountable. 1 Quote

SiouxFan100 Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Got his first hit - one at bat too late Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Cant fault Berrios today. Cant fault starting pitching in this series, which isn’t the case usually. Quote
UNDMOORHEAD Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 What are the odds that the bats show up before this game (and series) is over? Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Looks like Berrios might be done for the day. Gladden is besides himself Quote

I don't mind some shifting but I've never been a big fan of a 3 completely on one side and the Twins seem to use that a lot. Even if Polanco would've been lined up a step towards 3rd from 2nd he would've easily made that play today. Quote

I was told by Rocco they have to create offense when they aren't hitting. Guess moving runners doesn't fall under that definition. Quote

SiouxScore Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 How many times this year has the Twins 3rd base coach sent a guy and the guy is about by 15+ feet? Quote
UNDMOORHEAD Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Arraez isn't fast enough to go first to home on that. Quote
Wilbur Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 What a terrible spot to send a terribly slow runner..... Quote
SiouxFan100 Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Even when good things happen it ends bad how games are won or lost Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 I’ll repeat: Maeda and Berrios have done enough to win. Offense needs to step up Quote
SiouxScore Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Absolutely hate the decision to pull Berrios. Quote
Wilbur Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Why does Springer get to chirp but not Rosario??? Wow.... 1 Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Potentially the last at bat for Eddie in a twins uni? Quote

Wilbur Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 2-1 Astros. Stashak gives up a bomb. Nine bullets left. Then we are talking 18 consecutive and why Rocco is still the manager. Quote
