.357
Are there any rituals or sacrifices that need to be performed in order to ensure a UND victory? What or whom should I lay at my altar of Gino Gasparini?
SiouxScore
North Dakota MHockey @UNDMHockey 3h3 hours ago Dave Hakstol says freshman forward Trevor Olson will replace injured classmate Nick Schmaltz in the lineup tonight. As most expected, my prediction is a 4-2 Sioux win with goals from Parks, Johnson, Schmaltz, and Simonson.
Oxbow6
North Dakota MHockey @UNDMHockey 3h3 hours ago Dave Hakstol says freshman forward Trevor Olson will replace injured classmate Nick Schmaltz in the lineup tonight. So even though Mark Mac is practicing this would be an indication he won't play tonight.

stoneySIOUX
So even though Mark Mac is practicing this would be an indication he won't play tonight. Maybe Olson earned the spot this week? Mac could just as well dress for someone else.
fargosioux
Not sure if it's confirmed or just speculation, but Dave mentioned in his preview that neither LaDue or MacMillan would be playing this weekend.
Emerald joker
We finally get a player in Nick thats as good as advertized and then he gets injured when we're on an unbeaten streak, wth. Can't the injuries just leave us alone for once! GO SIOUX!!!
yelo09
According to Dave's preview article: North Dakota’s scoring depth will be tested this weekend. Already without the services of senior forward Mark MacMillan (5-2-7 in five games this season), UND freshman phenom Nick Schmaltz (1-7-8 in nine games) sustained an upper body injury against Wisconsin and is not expected to play. Also, sophomore defenseman Paul LaDue (3-5-8 in eight games) will be out of the lineup this weekend.

Godsmack
I'd put our goaltending at an advantage over theirs. I'm calling for a 4-3 win for the good guys in green.
Dave Berger
Not confirmed, but let's just say that I'd be very surprised to see MacMillan or LaDue this weekend. And no, Brad and I are not the same person. Dave

scpa0305
If we stay out of the box I think we sqeak one out tonight. Williams falls apart tonight. 5-4 good guys. Olson scores first goal tonight. Saturday - Miami laid it all out there Friday, come up with a dud on Saturday. 3-2 good guys.
.357
Cerrano says he wants to sacrifice a live chicken. Maybe said chicken should be garbed in a Miami outfit for maximum effectiveness.
stoneySIOUX
Maybe said chicken should be garbed in a Miami outfit for maximum effectiveness. Schmaltz is looking for a little extra pop from his clapper tonight. Knew we should used a live chicken. lol
.357
I think injuries indicate 3 things: 1) The depth of a team. 2) Does the team play as a unit or does it rely on a few players? 3) Will certain part-time players elevate their game when their team needs them? Duh
