Oxbow6 Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Here is the bottom line....doesn't matter what skill guys UND has out there, there isn't a solid D1 OL on the field. Quote

Sioux94 Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 This kind of feels like a game from last year, except we have no offense (minus that one drive). Quote
Feff Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Things were going with Mollberg in, which is disappointing he's now out. Wonder how this game would've been had he been able to stay in. Bartles just doesn't have it this year it appears. Quote

Bartles just doesn't have it this year it appears. Joe looked decent today but he has a 6 game sample of mediocre play. Again the OL is brutal...can't run or pass block. Quote
Feff Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Agreed, but the offense was at least moving and Joe seemed to be making some better throws. Bartles comes in and the offense does nothing again. I fully agree that the OL is brutal and limits just about everything we can do. Quote
Sioux94 Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 True....but I'd sure rather feel more comfortable with Joe in there right now than Bartels. We'll see, maybe Bartels will regroup over half time and come out and play well. Quote
rochsioux Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Wow...that is some of the worst clock management I have ever seen, basically gave PSU 3 points. PSU had three timeouts and was trying to let UND run out the clock even when UND had the ball back at their own 10. The UND coaching staff was having the team rush to the line of scrimmage. What did they think they were going to accomplish ?  Has the coaching staff watched the offense at all this season ? They should have been grateful that PSU was dumb enough to not call a timeout and just take their time and let the clock run out. PSU finally woke up and decided if UND was really that stupid they might as well take advantage and call a timeout.  I have lost all confidence in this coaching staff. If that is their typical intelligence level we might as well start over again next year. Sioux94 Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Bartels is looking good now! May have a QB controversy on our hands again after all if he keeps this up. I think he was just rusty and not ready getting thrown in so quick like that in the first half, but he seems to have regrouped and is totally in it now. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 17-13 UND......Bartles is smoking in 2nd half Quote
Sioux94 Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 I admit....when Joe went down...I was like crap...and worried, but hey.....Bartels for President!!! haha Quote
Cratter Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Took Bartles, what, one quarter to match or surpass Mollbergs TD drives the last two games combined? Quote

darell1976 Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Concussion evaluation I hope he is okay. Quote
Sioux94 Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Don't think Norberg is injured, they need the quicker back in who can bust it outside against their defense. Up the gut is not working at all on them, that's why he's not in as much IMO. Quote
ericpnelson Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Hey let's loud here in this down quarter. Let's get wierd. Go Sioux !!!!#buckethatlife Quote
Sioux94 Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Ugh Bartels missed that one.....coulda been a first down. Hope we are not setting ourselves up for another heart breaking loss at the end. Quote
