Thought somehow UNLV upgraded with new money to the Orleans rink.  They play Minot St tonight and most of their games at the City National Arena, which appears to be the Vegas Knights practice facility.  Minot State is leading 4-0 after two.

They always play at City National Arena, part of why Foley said he'll help fund a D1 UNLV team he just won't fund it all.

Met couple past UND players at Judy's before the game.
Took pink bus to The Ralph.

In short:
We lost to Omaha.
Crookston hired a past UND hockey player as their coach to start a team, announcement will come out soon.

If it's Crookston, it must be Billy Trew!

Where is the goalie?

Extra attacker must be late off the bench.

Where's the fourth on-ice official? I think I see orange arm bands on the two by the blue line* so we're "linesman down!"

*Also wrong. The "oranges" try to stay in a goal line/blue line arrangement up and down the ice.

uh, is this a thing????  INDIANA?  "Indiana University’s plan to move its hockey program to Division 1 includes this proposal to develop a truly “green” arena. The buildings shell currently resides in North Dakota as the former Ralph Englestad Arena. The plan is to dismantle the facility and ship it by rail to Bloomington, Indiana where it will become the new home to Hoosier Hockey. The facility will go from 6,500 seats to 5,500 seats and receive a comprehensive renewal and re-birth."

Did they save anything when they tore down the old ralph?  Maybe this is old, but new on jlg's website.  At least it shows Indiana must have had some interest in D1 hockey.

Plausible I guess? But no clue where its "residing" at.

Demolition of the old Engelstad Arena, which is being undertaken in multiple phases for salvage purposes, is expected to be completed later this summer.

This video shows them being pretty careful around the main structure as well:

Last decade, there was talk by the Indiana club team of a move to DI.  Since many club teams want to move up, discounted it as overambitious without actual leadership statements and no building.

Somebody paid JLG for the plan.  Guessing it wasn't cheap.  I agree the plan is probably dead though.
