UND Fan Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Some of made their predictions on the matchup thread but we normally have a separate one for these picks. MSU 42 UND 13 As always, I hope I am wrong! Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Some of made their predictions on the matchup thread but we normally have a separate one for these picks. MSU 42 UND 13 As always, I hope I am wrong! Darn! So Missouri State is every bit as good as San Jose State? I sure hope not, plus this team needs to show improvement from week 1 to week 3. Quote
homer Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Not sure if our offense has the horsepower yet. I think our defense continues to improve and forces a few more turnovers. Game is close, offense turns it over a couple times and they get some short fields. MSU- 24 UND- 16 Quote
Oxbow6 Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 MSU 35 UND 10. I was at the game last week vs RM and there is nothing that allows me to believe UND wins this one on the road. For those gambling degenerates that means IMO UND covers the +26. Quote
SooToo Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 24-10, Mizery. Not enough offense yet, unfortunately, to get all of 16 points against a better defense. Quote
Tangolou Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I was at the Robert Morris game, didn't think we could be worse than last year but was proven wrong. If Garmen is on the field it's the worst UND offense in the last 25 years. On the positive side I saw some young talent on the D, but not experienced enough to make a difference in this one. MSU 31 UND 6 Quote

MSU 31 UND 6 To Bubba's credit along with the players, the tackling and pursuit to the ball defensively is already better than at any point in the Muss era from what I saw last Saturday. That was good to see. Quote
darell1976 Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 UND gets a 100 yd rusher (other than Mollberg) UND wins 28-10 UND can't run the ball MSU 31 UND 3 Quote
Nodak78 Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 UND 24-21 defense scores and gives us a short field. special teams come up big. shag has a big day running hard. hinojosa has 2 sacks. Quote

They really shined last week with the block kicks and kicking field goals. Hopefully it keeps up tomorrow and the rest of the season. Quote
Kap Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 The defense plays well again and gives the offense a short field a few times. The offense can't punch it into the end zone. 31-9 MSU. I will count this as a win for the program if the o-line shows improvement. Quote
North Dakota Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I'm hoping UND can keep it close and maybe have a shot at the end. UND - 17 Missouri State - 20 Quote
jdub27 Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Heart says 27-24 UND. Head says 31-17 MSU. Quote
dmksioux Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I will go with 27-13, Missouri State. I will be looking for less mistakes (batched snaps, players running the wrong play, etc) and penalties, an improvement in the trenches (both sides), and better decision making by Mollberg. I don't expect a perfect game, but would like to see some improvement that gives me hope this team is headed in the right direction. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 My brothers are going...they live in Springfield. Guess community is excited about MSU FB this year. Opener for updated stadium so expecting full house. Should be good atmosphere for a college FB game. Quote
sioux24/7 Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 UND 10 MSU 38 Bartels throws our only TD. I am hoping we see a Mollberg breakout performance but this is my prediction. Quote
