I plead ignorant...what the hell does thin mints mean?

 

The thin mints are with the peanut butter ... on the top shelf. (I've heard him explain it once.)

It's also mutated a bit over the last year or two to be "the best of the best" kind of a statement.  Girl Scout cookies are the best, but Thin Mints are the best of the best -

Ken Landau, the CC hockey radio guy, loves to say the "where grandma keeps the peanut butter" line whenever CC scores top shelf (although, he hasn't gotten the opportunity to say that much the past couple of seasons) ?

I LOVE this one. I'm gonna start using it in day-to-day situations.

 

"StoneySioux, is DDC picking a sweep this weekend?" says the college hockey fan.

 

"Top cheddar, baby," replies StoneySioux, emphatically.

Beanpot continues today. BC/Harvard at 3:30 central. BU/Northeastern at 6:30. I read that BC would drop from #9 to #16 in the PWR with a loss.

This is the first of three straight game between Northeastern and BU. 

 

This could have some Pairwise implications... For sure.
